2 Days 1 Night Adventure Trek Elephant Riding & Bamboo Rafting
We do this trekking tour every day.
You can join a tour group any day. We guarantee, that we have a place for you, whether you come alone or with several other persons.This trek is designed for people who stay only a few days in Chiang Mai and do not have time to take part in our 3 days trek.
Included are:

- Bamboo rafting 1h
- Waterfall
- Jungle walks of 3h, 0.5h
- Overnight stay near a Meo village
- Visit of a local market
- Shan (Tai Yai) hilltribe village
We provide:

Children up to 10 years old pay 60% of adult price.On a "joint trek" you will join with others (8 - 10 persons).

Itinerary
- 8:30 - 9:30 a.m. : Pick-up from hotel or guest-house by pick-up truck.
- We will leave Chiang Mai on highway 108 past the airport to Sanphathong, an about 40 min. drive. We will make a stop at a local market. The guide will buy the food for the trek and you have time to buy some things you might need on the trek.
- After an about 30 min. drive to the Mae Wang waterfalls at the Doi Inthanon National Park. Here we will make the mid-day break and and have lunch for about 1 hour. You can swim there if you like.
- After the break we will start walking. For about 3 hours the guide will lead you through a wonderful evergreen jungle landscape, through bamboo forests, lianas, rhododendrons and lots of other vegetation. Also there are lots of beautiful birds.
- The walk will lead us to a Meo hilltribe village with a nearby waterfall, where we will stay over night.
- The next morning, after breakfast we will walk for about 0.5 hour to the rubber boat landing to make an exciting ride down "Mae Wang" stream, for about an hour. After that a pick-up truck will bring us to Mae Mud village, a village of the Shan tribe (Tai Yai). There we will have lunch.
- After lunch we will go bamboo rafting on the Mae Wang Stream for about 1 hour. The rafts are made of bamboo stems fit together with ropes.
- Then will make an adventurous elephant ride through the jungle for about 1 hour. After the elephant ride we will drive back to Chiang Mai where we will arrive at about 17:00 h.
